my daughter is going to middle school next year and i am dreading the thought of what she will be experiencing

Everyone involved is a POS including the dad who could have 100% prevented this if he paid more attention to his daughter.
I'm gonna say this to all of you with kids going into their teens or already teens - PAY ATTENTION to them. girls especially are vulnerable. They are targeted by bad people and bad influences. you have to be active.
the only innocent person here IMO is the girl herself.

What exactly is the teacher suppose to do? Turn the kids in? They simply release them. Then it gets worse. Is the teacher suppose to beat the bullies up? Then you would holler teacher was wrong. What exactly would you do as a teacher? Inquiring minds would like to know. The teacher is not with the student 24/7 ie bathroom, hall, other teacher’s room, bus, bus stop, etc.

This wasn’t a one punch fight and then a wrestling match.
It was a prolonged beating.
Public school teachers and their leader Randi Weingarten, have no problem ruining a kids life if he/she wears a red hat to school. Treat bullies the same way.
Better yet, give parents school choice and vouchers.
I’m not saying most public teachers are bad. But there are enough that more worried with pronouns they ruin it for the good teachers.

The school board did not want to expel the bullies because they were scared of losing 23,000 per student in revenue.

Before the fights idiot. What is the teacher to do? The administration can do something but not the teacher. Teacher has no power. Which fights do you break up as a female teacher? They get sued for breaking them up. If it’s boys, what can a women do with 10 boys fighting? Gang fights? Girl fights are the worse. You have no idea. My mother was a teacher and they broke her leg when she tried to break up a fight. The school could give a shite about my mother. She was on her own. They had professional development meetings to tell teachers they can be sued if they break up fights. They are on their own and the district didn’t have a policy as for what a teacher had to do for a fight. It’s all a joke.

Private schools are just as bad with the bullying. They just don't have mass beatdowns. Adding the animals to that will not end well.

It’s pretty bad. Cheerleaders bullied my daughter in 7th grade bc she was academically number 1. She was a cheerleader. The girls on team in 8th grade were extremely fast sexually. My daughter had no idea about any of that stuff and was very innocent. It was a long year. After that, no problems. Girls gang up on other girls. They are vicious.

How does a school official superintendent not have any understanding of how to walk gingerly around a tragedy. What a fricking moron and one that should be immediately removed from any official capacity over students.
