Opener was Mitch Rossell. He wrote Garths song "Ask Me How I know" from a few years ago.
I ran across him years ago, like 2007 he had a YouTube channel where he did acoustic covers from his garage. I went to a Garth show in 2015 and Garth brought him up on stage and introduced him as the writer of that song and I was like wait that was the YouTube guy

Only an idiot would have guessed George strait. Georgie strait and willie were opening up the new arena in Austin this weekend with 2 shows. Tickets were through the roof.
