Scottsdale is a resort town. That one is just one that is a resort/casino. You ever been inside there? Actually pretty nice for an indian casino, although it is a small casino. They do several poolside concerts there. Their pool becomes a day club every weekend in the warmer months.

The restaurant on the top floor is really good. You can go to the bar on the top floor as well see some of the best sunset views of Scottsdale.

I've been to Top Golf once. I wasn't that great...but had fun. I bet if I went more I could have improved my swing.

We live 5 minutes from that location but never go.

I see a bunch of "ifs" in that article. Nothing that 100% confirms Top Golf is for sure coming to NOLA.

If the New Orleans project receives all necessary city approvals -- and if Topgolf ultimately settles on The Times-Picayune site -- construction would begin in early 2018 and last about 10 months, according to the Feb. 21 letter.

You should see how they light up for the different holidays.

Example...for 4th of july it looks like a giant lit up flag is over the casino. Christmas is Santa in a sleigh wishing merry Christmas, Halloween is a witch on a broom, etc. etc. I like the lights as well fwiw.

They're planning to put it next to the ghetto under the interstate next to where all the homeless people live.

So. Good luck with that. I'm sure when the monuments start breaking into cars and robbing people in the parking lot it'll go the way of celebration station and jazz land.

Can't wait to watch hundreds of unsupervised 12-17 yr old monuments destroy the new Dave and Busters as well.

D&B does have policies against unsupervised minors fwiw

Directly from their website...

quote:

Must be 18 or over to enter the premises. Persons under the age of 18 or 21 (varies by location) may only enter the premises with a guardian who is at least 25 years of age. Each guardian may bring no more than 6 underage persons into the premises.

when i'm in Dallas visiting my nephew its a great place for a kid to go during the summer. The one in Dallas has the golf range, batting cages and miniature golf. Trust me its a great place to burn the energy of a 10 year old.
If you think its comparable to a golf range that's your opinion.

I'm not a big golf person though, neither is my husband.

If both of us were...we would go there more often.

That's because it used to be the GOAT golfing/fun establishment, Scotty's Golf Park. Par 3 course, indoor and outdoor mini golf (both with baller water features), batting cages, range, arcade, and restaurant. 1/3 birthday parties I attended in elementary school were held there.
