Same here in East Texas. July and August suck for sure but late in September there is a change to moderation. It's cold from December to early February. It's cool at night until early June and tolerable usually to the end of June. It can severe weather here but I like watching the storms roll in across the lake. I try to vacation to the north in parts ofJune, July and August.
