I didn’t say I’ve never heard of it (same for Bailey & whatever else you listed). I said don’t know a single person with that last name. It’s not a top 20 name.

If you dont know a single Cheramie, Duval or Bailey then you haven't lived in Louisiana very long, especially not long enough to love it.
