Toddler friendly trails in the smokies?

Laurel Falls

Laurel falls is great but hold their hands near the end by the falls. I'm sure more than a handful of kids have fallen there.
It's paved the whole way, not bad at all.
If you are wearing the kid, then it wouldn't be a problem at all. Grotto falls is also fun as kids can swim in the pool at the end and go behind the waterfall.

(plus it's off the roaring forks motor trail which you should do, unless you have a big truck or RV)

Bless your heart for doing Gatlinburg on Thanksgiving. We were there last weekend and I would have to cut someone if the crowd was worse.

5 1/2 hours to go to Cades Cove and back.

Little River Trail

Grotto is never as crowded as Laurel though, sometimes you can't even find a spot near laurel and have to park and then hike to the trailhead.

I usually go during down times though, so don't really have the same problems. I do hate when the traffic is backed up on Cades Cove, I just exit to Townsend and come back in on the unmarked road then leave on the ten mile gravel road.

I second Little River Trail. Pretty flat and wide open.
