My heart goes out to you and all the others who posted their loss in the thread. Rest in peace to your children and may you all be comforted over their absence.

Thank you for the reminder, this should be the most important part of my day and far too often I am busy or preoccupied with something less important in the grand scheme. I will be spending extra time with both of my young kids today. I cannot imagine the pain, guilt, and grief you have endured but thank you for sharing.

I'm so sorry for you and any parent that has lost a child be old or young. I cannot quantify that level of hurt nor do I want to. I fear for my own two kids ages 15 and 12 daily and I am praying even more that my daughter who is on the cusp of getting her drivers license that she have a level head about her.

My world would be empty without my children. I would certainly be a lost soul. I wish nothing more than to give any of yall suffering this loss a simple comfort of you will be reunited again in some form or fashion.

Ted, just coming across this thread today as I prepare to fly home. Gut wrenching man. In 35 years I have never come to grips with pronouncing young children especially if the family is nearby. Places me in a funk for a few days so I can imagine what a 12 year funk must be. Personally coming up on four years my wife passed but not even close to the trauma you and your wife have dealt with. Hang in there man and know one day you will meet him again and smile
