What did I deny? I've been riding motorcycles for 40 years. I'm fully aware that they are dangerous. My only point is that people injured in a car accident suffer pain just like people injured in a motorcycle accident.

I'm honestly amused at the over-the-top defensive replies to the OP.
I ride a bicycle off road and on in all types of terrain and conditions but avoiding trucks and autos at speed and I love it and it keeps me in shape quite well.
I figure when I get old, fat and out of shape and ready to die I'll get out there on a motorcycle.
As for now I get my thrill from a good technical bicycle ride and I don't have to worry about all of the idiots texting and driving.
