YOU DONT HAVE TO PUT ANYTHING IN IT!!

This isn’t new. I have seen this for years and generally just for spare change. If they can make an extra $10 then who cares?

My wife was a gas station clerk on night shift in Portland OR when a guy on a bike got ran over, hit and run, he crawled into the gas station, my wife called 911 and held him as he bled to death on the floor waiting for the ambulance. She quit shortly after that.

Tip jar is a step up from scamming though

Had a cashier ask me Friday if I wanted to donate to the kids at a gas station


Lady I just paid you over $7 for a 20oz Diet Citrus Green Tea and a Jack Links Sweet & Hot beef steak because I forgot to put enough stuff in the cooler to keep from being in here....no

I will not be contributing to whatever habit has you asking customers for money
