She wasn't fired for saying the N word. She was fired for doing something that isn't acceptable to a lot of people in the place she works. How do some of you not understand this?
Anything that brings negative attention to your company can get you fired. That's part of the contract you sign when you take a job. If you don't agree to that, start your own company.

She's not black so why does it matter what would happen if she was? Is her employer supposed to operate as if they live in a fantasy society or the one the are trying to run a business in?

The reason she used the n word and ranted about illegal immigrants was to illicit a reaction. The reason she didn't say broke asses is because she was trying to stir up controversy, which is also the reason she got fired. Her employer didn't wanna be attached to her social media controversy.
That is their decision to make.
