aubrey is big-time into paydays & almond joys for snacks now. the inside of the house is littered with candy wrappers. she's like a fricking machine eating those things.

When I first heard the story the first thing that popped into my head was that she was an escort. Then it stated that she gave her boyfriend the address of the house she was going to (which doesn't mean she isn't an escort, he could be the one behind it all. Forcing her to be an escort) so if he was not her "pimp" and a legit boyfriend then maybe she was a MT.
But, like I mentioned earlier, the house and area where the dude lived didn't seem like an area where people who would call an in-house MT would live (but who knows? I don't know the demographics on people who use in home MTs). With all that said, maybe the dude assumed MT was code for "sex worker" so he was expecting to get his rocks off and that wasn't what she did so he got angry and killed her.
I only know what everyone else knows, but it doesn't really seem like it was a planned murder just because.. if he planned on killing her, I would think that he would have thought that there is a chance she would tell someone where she was going in which case, when people realize she is missing he would become the first suspect. Instead, her car was found in another location near the house.. Which seems like it was a "oh shite, I killed her. WTF do I do now?" type of kill.
