I guess the window install went according to plan yesterday.
Ladders and heights used to not bother me in the least. I'm at the point now where it's preferable to keep both feet on the ground.

Hi Joe. It went pretty well. The sash was thicker than the old one and it was about 1/8" too tall in a spot or two (it had a arched top). I tried to knock it in but no go. Had to pull it down and trim some from the bottom. Had it fit exactly it would have saved me a bit of time but I shall not complain...no one comes here to read a bunch of whining by others...

It kinda rattled around in the back of my mind yesterday and then I noticed you weren't in the gmt.
I guess it stuck with me because a friend of mine had to jump off a ladder when he got into a wasp nest. He landed on his feet but shattered both heels and required several surgeries. He needs additional surgery but says he's gonna try to deal with it as is.

Aspy, I'm gonna agree with Paige on Skillet being pretty intelligent. Your remark about him being normal is troubling - I'm gonna have to chew on that one for a while.

One of the guys that helped me does a lot of frameless shower installs and handles a great deal of large heavy glass. He had some of those suction cup things that were the bee's knees. VERY helpful. About the only thing that bugs me is the customer wrote the check to my company instead of me...I was hoping to cash this one away...My sock drawer stash has dwindled a little....He is not home now though and I need to go there and do a thing or two....maybe I will just steal some stuff from them to make up for it...You know crooked all of us handymen types are...

And I cash covered some sudden expenses and about every time I said, "this about cleans me out"...I think she has found it and knows there is more....Guess it is time to move it to the washing machine...She has no idea where that is..
Map, on the ham...it depends on the temperature...at 120 it takes a week or so...It you are in a hurry, put it in the oven and use the 'clean' feature...but wrap it in wax paper for safety.
