When I see roller coasters I always wonder if they were built by the lowest bidder (i doubt it unless it was a government project), but even with the best people on the job, at some point there will be a RC that malfunctions. Just like anything else, there is always that risk.. But the chances of it happening while you (in general) are on it is very low so people shouldn't let it be a reason to stop them from having fun.
