We used to do this all the time while in college at SLU.
Someone lifted a large jar of sodium pellets for the chemistry lab and we would drink beers and throw them into the pool at the Camelot apartments.
Good times.

I did this at the LSU lakes with about 8 oz. that I snuck out of my chemistry lab back in the late 80's. scared the crap out of some ducks fo sho
