So, Saturday is my son's birthday but his actual party will be in a couple of weeks. I am trying to find something fun for the family to do on Saturday around Lafayette. Something a little different than going to the movies or kart ranch type stuff. Any suggestions would be great.

Spend the day at Lake Fausse Point or take an air boat swamp tour in Henderson.

indoor trampoline park

Never been to this place personally, but there's trampoline park in NOLA similar to this and my kid loves it...always packed with kids.

He would love sky zone if he enjoys fun jumps.

If you want to not spend a dime giraurd park (by ULL)

Chucky cheese is always fun for them, but enter at your own risk.

Cake, ice cream, and youngins bouncing on trampolines. Be sure to take video of the projectile vomiting that ensues, OP.

For reals its annoying always having to stop and hit the breaks for people turning into kart ranch.

Have taken out of town friends on a few swamp tours out of the basin landing, kids love feeding the gators marshmallows and even though I spent alot of time in the basin growing up I still learned somethings from the guide. basinlanding

You think there will be gators out since it is winter? Albeit a very warm winter.

Spoiler alert
Like how back in the day, Henry Ford was using Spanish Moss sourced from the basin to use as stuffing for the seats in his automobiles.

Wait, is this the one with the fun jumps or the one with the trampolines? If it is the fun jump one, I'd avoid it like the plague.
