Just registered 102.3 on the thermometer.
Body feels like I was in a car wreck yesterday - hurts to stand, lay down, recline, anything.
Sinuses are like waterfalls and wont stop.
Eyes constantly watery.
I haven't kept any food down all day, even the powerade comes back up.
Throat sore from coughing up phlegm.
Even my damned ear canals are sore.

I got a flu shot in November and am still getting my arse kicked by this - I've never really hurt this bad from the flu but holy smokes does this one feel like you've been hit by a damn dump truck. Take precautions when out in public for the next few weeks, doc told me the vaccine wasn't very effective against it this year.

And no it's not the coronavirus.

The two years I've received the flu shot are the only two years I've contracted the flu, I'm done.

Me too! Once in high school, and once in 2014. I got the flu both times!

Skipped your whole post just to post that you had coronavirus, just to see that you already covered it. Oh well. Good luck dude, stay sleeping or watching sports

Have you went to the doctor to confirm it's the flu?

I had it just before Christmas. It took me to my knees. No stomach issues, but coughing like crazy and has ZERO energy. I tried to work the first day that I had it. I would seriously work for an hour and become exhausted, then lay down in my office and go to sleep for an hour, then work for an hour, then sleep. It sucks.

I'm getting over it right now. It didn't hit me all that hard but it's currently kicking my wife's arse.

Exactly - I started feeling back on Friday, Saturday it ramped up a bit, then today the floodgates opened. I was on a load from Atlanta to Dayton, OH and started puking when I got to Chattanooga - there's a nice pile on the shoulder just past the i24 split. After that it felt like I had been driving 3 days with no sleep. Called up my company and they had me park near Knoxville and go to the doc. Since then I'm awake for an hour, sleep for 3. Awake for a bit, then back for more. Most of the time I'm awake I'm puking. Watched a chunk of the SB though.

I'm done whining now. lolz

Every year that Scruffy has received the flu shot, he hasn’t gotten the flu, and he also spends all day around sick kids with the flu.

Once, 20 years ago.

Hadn’t received the flu shot that year.

Got people in here that won't take the flu shot, yet they want us to shut down the border because of the coronavirus. Cracks me up.

Got it on Thursday. No energy and sleeping all the time. My joints are all sore and the worst coughing fits I've ever had. Chest feels like i got hit by a train there. I've had a fever ever since Friday morning.
I need to check again, but the fever may be breaking at this point. This afternoon was at least better than the last two days have been. I've been self quarantining to keep from spreading this crap.
Stay healthy out there.
