But how many had drank while pregnant and gave birth to a disabled girl, then continued to drink through two more pregnancies after its known that alcohol affects developmental cells in babies? Just to top it off, she decided alcohol wasn't enough for the 4th and 5th children, so she picked up heroin and smoking as well. Shockingly, neither lived. This women deserves the absolute worst.

I'm beyond desensitized to news stories involving fricked up people doing crazy things. That said, the stories involving children that have zero control or any chance at having a future seriously piss me off?I will never comprehend how someone carrying their own child can't take care of themselves for 9 months. It's fricking disgusting

She may be happy but has no real sense of self. That isn't how humans should live life. IMO.

But she is 43, can't care for herself, and knows nothing about the world other than the elementary ideas she can understand. I get what you are saying about her being happy but she's happy in the absolute worst way

There are people who consider alcoholism a disease.

Alcoholism can be considered a disease in some cases, but too many people use it as a crutch then claim it's a disease for it to ever be taken seriously. She can claim she's an alcoholic all she wants, it doesn't mean she can't control over aspects of her life like continually getting pregnant or picking up heroin. She's a piece of shite at the end of the day

Doesn't say how much she actually drank... You have to put down a serious amount booze to have a FASD baby...

It makes me afraid that people might do this intentionally.

Some sicko craze where the mother drinks so she will increase her chances to "have her baby forever."

What's sad is that there are some sick mothers out there like that. Nothing surprises me these days.

How much does a woman have to drink to do this. I know some doctors recommend a small glass of red wine a day to promote blood flow or something.

I'm thinking this woman was downing shots of rotgut whiskey.
