Ever since I've cut my sodium content way down, I can't stand the taste of McDonald's burgers. I tried eating a Big Mac about a month or so ago and it tasted like biting into a salt lick.

I use to like them, especially the double qtr pounder. But now that I don't eat that much salt, I can really taste how much salt they put into their hamburger meat.
It's like when a smoker quits smoking and they can finally notice how cigarettes makes things stink.
I've had other burgers since and they still taste like regular burgers to me. But McDonalds is eat up with absurd amounts of salt.
I guess that's why you can sit one of their burgers out for like a year and it looks just like it did the day it was made.

Gotta do what you've gotta do. I don't plan my day that well, so drive through places work best a lot of the time. When I have work, I only get an hour and am surrounded by drive throughs and chain places. Not much choice

I get that. I'll drop into a Chik-fil-A or some other burger joint before MickeyD's though.

I remember my family driving 25 miles after church on Sundays to eat @ the Golden Arches. The Big Mac was cool and hip in the 50's..
