No, just fought a lot. I would rather fight someone than talk shite for an hour. Hell, I'd rather fight multiple people than talk shite, and have done so on many occasions. I was bad when I was younger and went to bad public schools and camps for bad kids. Not too hard to get in 1 or 2 fights a month

That's still a lot of fights. From knowing my history here on the OT, I think you know the circles I've moved around in for years. And even there I've never known of anyone to get in that many fights. I'm not calling you a liar. I'm just saying that's a helluva lot of fights.

You mean like someone on someone's back choking him, right?

Pretty much if one guy is choking the other out and the other guy is no longer putting up a fight or trying to resist, the fight's over at that point and needs to stop.

40+

Again, I could care less what others do. In my town, if 2 guys were on the ground and one was on the others back choking him, we would have stepped in and and stopped that pussy shite.
Sorry kids...I don't see it as a victory in fighting if you choke...or better yet, what if the kid would have kicked him on the side of his knee and damaged a ligament causing the guy to stop, would the kid have "won" ?

I am 44 and sadly, would probably get beat by any 17+ year old with training in JJ or any discipline that tries to go to the ground. After two bouts with lymphoma my body is slow and stiff. My right leg suffered nerve damage so bad it is as if I have muscular dystrophy in that one area of my body. I can't move beyond a slow jog. My lateral quickness is gone. Only shot I would have is boxing and catching him hard and quick with a few jabs and maintaining separation.

A lot of times it will work perhaps but not always. I've seen guys get the hell beat out of them that way.

Are you better now? I knew a guy like that and in his 40s now, he avoids fighting and just walks away.

I honestly don't know how that would go for me. How big a part does experience play? At 17, I had probably been in 30 or 40 fights, but from 18-24, I was probably in 30-40 more with guys that were better at fighting. Then, I was younger and quicker, but now I know where and when to do certain things and I don't think I would waste as much energy doing dumb shite
if he trains mma, which from his first punch I would say no, he might have 20 fights a week. Not real fights, but hard sparring rounds amongst different body types that give him equivelant experience . At 6 months training 4 days a week that's 480 rounds in 6 months. At 2-5 min rounds that's 1000-2400 min of experience. I would say that makes a difference.

I'm guessing his home town has the equivalent to the Texas Club to have got into that many fights.

So you're a young punk if you do anything other than box in a street fight?
