ETA: For those asking if she knew something was wrong, we just had our little boy on January 27th. I was high risk and at home in the bed for the last 2.5 months but all of my tests and appointments were good. Went in for a routine test and didn't come back out of the hospital until 4 days after his birth. Things went south very, very quickly. I never foresaw anything like that. My guy was born 6-8 weeks early (they think his due date was actually off) and has been in the NICU for 4 weeks today. We were very lucky. When you're in the NICU, you can see how fragile pregnancy and birth really are. This story hits home. Many prayers for this family.
