Take a ride on Texas Hwy 99, and then realize that Houston has three loops and BR has Zero

If you're into beer, 11 Below is in the area. Also, Whole Foods has a nice taproom inside the store.

Other than that, it's not hipster haven like inside the loop....

but yes all of this. So many mind blowing spots. Also go shopping at one of the Asian super markets, GOAT produce.

Get some taco's and a few beers at West Alabama Ice House

If you want to eat a really awesome meal. I cannot recommend Provisions enough

NOT the Galleria. It's like going to a UN meeting with kids. I've never heard so many languages spoken in on place before. And its run down too.
Downtown is fun, but like a ghost town on weekends. Lucky strike bowling is great...it's like an upscale bar with bowling. More fun than it sounds (if you have some good company with you).
St. Arnold brewery is good too, but hard to get to.
Museum of natural history is fantastic.
Go downtown and ride the little train up and down. Stop at bars and restaurants as you go. Train also will take you right to the museum.
Eat at Mia Bella Tratorria (2 of them downtown right on the train line)
House of blues in same building as Lucky strike, and really cool dive bar across the street (Dirt Bar)
That is all

Top Golf. BR needs one of these. Great, cheap fun.

Also, the indoor skydiving place is great.

Lots of great bars/restaurants as well.
