I feel OK so far, but old friends and relatives passing reminds me I might be close.

When I was in high school, if you were 18 and your parents signed a form you could smoke outside. Now the cigarette buying age starts at 21.

I'm eighty years old. I can still jump rope. I used a chainsaw today cutting firewood, loaded it on my pickup, and stacked it. I have arthritis in my neck and right shoulder. However, the thing that makes me feel old is waking in the morning with no purpose. I think, why am I getting up. I watch the local morning News, which is a repeat of the previous days News. After a couple hours, I eat breakfast, and then I usually find something to do that has meaning. The Dog Days of summer are torture, since I am an outdoor person. But Fall is coming, things are looking up. Its 55 degrees tonight in E. Tennessee

Keep getting up my man. Life is good.

How effing old are you? I'm a month shy of 59 and can't remember ever being able to buy a pair of Levi's for less than $21.

I bought a new boat this year. It's housed at Center Hill. You're welcome to join me next season all you want.

Yes it is and I am sitting outside drinking some whiskey.

You ever need some company or help, you aren't the only one here in East TN. Would be happy to share a drink, story, and fire pit.

70 is just a few weeks away.

I'll admit I started working early in my life at age 13 and got a job for what was minimum wage back then-----$1.25 an hour.

I used some of my money to buy my clothes for school in 65 after working all that summer launching boats on the Violet Canal right off St Bernard Hwy.

The business is still there as a bar now, with no launch available for years from what I understand.

Yep, when I was in my early 20's I could buy a six pack of Budweiser 12 ounce cans and a pack of Marlboro in the box with a 5 dollar bill. And get change back

I can remember as a kid heading to the corner Mom & Pop store to buy my dad cigarettes. A real pack of cigarettes were $.35 and packs of Target or Bugle loose tobacco with the papers was $.15.

The store owner would open 2 or 3 packs of cigarettes and sell them at 2 for $.10. That way he'd make 50 cents a pack instead of just 35 cents.

Cutting back on carbs and not drinking anything too late will help that issue.

The funny things is is when I was juicing (3 low carb juices per day), I damn near stopped pissing at night.

Brushing my hair at the bathroom sink and the vanity light enhances the silver in my hair……way beyond 50% now.

And the wrinkles in my neck skin as well as the thinning skin on my hands.

Yeah. frick this.
