Then why are we left footing the bill?

Again… which is it? Did lazy boomers quit work and skim social security or are they still working and taking up the management spots gen z and millennials want? We always hear it both ways in the same threads.

Mainly because everything turns to shite when you start putting people with “feelings” in charge.

Man… I’d love to see your rants on forgiven student loans, cradle to grave welfare, “””””””earned”””””” income credit, section 8, paid housing and debit cards to illegals…..

1 in 6 US companies reluctant to hire Gen Z workers, citing laziness and lack of professionalism

As new graduates flood the job market, many face an uphill battle with skeptical employers. New data shows 1 in 6 U.S. companies are hesitant to hire workers in their 20s, citing concerns like laziness, unprofessionalism and poor communication skills.

A survey by Intelligent, a career-focused website for young people, found that 17% of companies were reluctant to hire those in their 20s, and three-quarters were dissatisfied with recent college. This year, 60% of companies even terminated young hires for being unprepared or unprofessional, and 1 in 7 companies may stop hiring new grads by 2025.

“Many recent college graduates … are often unprepared for a less structured environment, workplace cultural dynamics and the expectation of autonomous work,” said Intelligent Chief Education and Career Development Advisory Huy Nguyen.

He added that while new grads may have theoretical knowledge from college, they often lack real-world experience and soft skills. This mismatch can create friction between young hires and seasoned workers.

Additionally, younger workers may lack an understanding of professional norms like communication, dress codes, punctuality and teamwork. Growing up with a focus on work-life balance, many Gen Z workers view work as a part of life, not its center, which challenges traditional expectations of long hours and constant availability.

Gen Z Careers The Worst To Manage, 45% Of Hiring Managers Say

As Gen Z graduates enter the workplace, some wonder how their older, skeptical coworkers will receive them. Their earlier peers, feeling misunderstood and vilified, are getting a bad rap from other generations and business leaders. The younger workers are criticized for having too many rules (pronouns anyone?), refusing to comply with corporate demands, being oppositional (Da Boomers!1!1!!) and lacking etiquette, reliability and flexibility.

‘Snowflakeism’ Gen Z hires are easily offended, and not ready for workplace: business leaders

Gen Z employees are entitled, too easily offended, lazy and generally unprepared for the workplace — according to their bosses.

The dismal assessment of workers born between 1996 and 2010 comes in a poll of 966 business leaders across the country taken last month by the online education magazine Intelligent.com.

The survey found 75% of execs felt most of the recent college grads they hired were unsuccessful — and 60% said at least some of them had to be fired.

About 17% of leaders believe Gen Z, who range in age from their teens to about 28, is often “too difficult” to manage, and 39% said they have poor communication skills. (Repeated in article after article)

Jessen James, an international entrepreneur, business mentor and speaker, said some Gen Zers struggle to articulate themselves, don’t look you in the eye, and don’t project their voices.

“They lack charisma and personality skills,” he told The Post, adding, “I don’t feel they are in tune with what it takes to impress others.”

Thinking that all boomers are liberals is a swing and a miss. A lot of people start out as foolish young leftists and liberals, but that changes with experience and age.

I don't understand the obsession with boomers. Most have retired. Things do seem to be getting progressively worse now that they are gone.

Things boomers cant do:

Text and drive no matter how hard they try

I just hope you run into something that puts no one else at risk.

The numbers suggest that more wrecks are now caused by texting than by drunk drivers. You bastards have no sense of reality and need an arse whippin.

Boomers have retired and Gen X (and some millennials) have replaced them because they were next in line. They have screwed up the system much more than it was before. Their narcissism and arrogance is sickening. They all have simple minded answers to complicated problems, and can't see past the tip of their noses. Gen Z is their offspring, and they don't want to take responsibility for this. I'm Gen X, so I feel like I am entitled to criticize them.
