Trivago also shows an ad with him doing fake outtakes where he bleeps out curses and such. They only show it on Comedy Central as far as I can tell, but its a real ad for Trivago.

But WTF is going on with his accent??? He sounds like an American from the East Coast for a portion of the commercial and thn he sounds like some sort of European. I can't put my finger on it and it drives me crazy that I cannot. Is that done on purpose to generate buzz?

Hey...i tried trivago. Their prices were 2-3 times more than walk up prices at all the hotels I tried. And they didn't even have some hotels listed that were on some well used sites such as hotels.com. LOL
Yeah their spokesman makes me laugh, because all of what he claims they do to locate rooms is incorrect. It's like they think if they say it enough they'll believe their own story.
