I'd bet 99% of ad clicks on any site are just due to the page loading crazy and jumping all over the place.

Regardless someone is paying for their services otherwise the ads wouldn't exist. They had an askreddit asking about people who had actually tried some of those hook up sites that are advertised on porn sites. It seems like they are pretty much all bots that bait you into paying. You'll get messaged by some "hot babe" but will have to pay to get pictures or to go further. So it's exactly what any reasonable person would assume.
