I just had a sobering thought. THE FREAKING OT is able to wrap these guys up in logical knots. This is the same OT that can't do fricking arithmetic. Let that sink in. The OT is smarter than the all-important river pilots.

What's even more is I haven't stopped.
If it's so important to y'all that river pilots be seen as less nepotic and more open, proceed with legal action.
The argument would be made back that a business should be allowed to hire who they want.
Something the supreme Court has agreed with, twice, in this specific discussion.
But continue on bemoaning nepotic rules as if it only applies to river piloting. The real reason everyone is pissed is that some river trash families have figured out a way to corner a valuable profession. First time in history of the World that has happened.

It just dawned on me that this would be the kind of thread that Rag would have loved. Except that he used to have to twist words to get guys all bound up like this. These guys have just laid it right out there, really unbelievable.
