Yeah, like the belief in Santa Claus.
it has some evidence such as ice caps melting and oceanic currents changing.
that's why they are always hyping the "threshold" of 2.5 degrees Celsius.
I have a hard time believing anything is irreversible with enough advancement in technology, but I wont be here to find out anyway so not sure why I should worry about whether it's true or not.

They are well aware that the world is warming in Ireland. They talked about it while we were there. The ocean is warming and fishing has drastically decreased because of it. You can ignore it and laugh all you want but the rest of the world knows it and they are seeing the effects on a daily basis
There are bigger issues with commercial fishing in Ireland, issues that can be fixed and greatly offset the impacts of climate variability.
They can start by not bending over for the EU. When boats from other countries are allowed to bring in bigger quotas from your country's waters, that's a problem. When the EU ties the hands of Irish fisherman in favor of fleets from other countries, to the point that it is putting Irish operations out of business, what is happening with the climate takes a backseat.
Ireland has to step up and start protecting it's own natural resources.

You see, as it turns out, every continent has their own climate dome. In some cities in Europe, they even have their own neighborhood domes that are not affected by outside influences or climates, which is why they are creating green zones and trying to prevent internal combustion engines from ruining their little dome environment.
It’s truly magical.
It’s truly magical.
