No the age of the internet doesn't over blow this offended situation. The internet allows more people to get their voice heard when they get offended. We all know how someone can bitch about something on facepage/tweaker/instagone/etc and then you might see a local news station show that tweet or someone's small time blog might post it and then it catches fire and spreads all over the interwebs. 40 years ago, these pussies/snowflakes/figs wouldn't get the attention that they lust for and would get ignored or told to grow the frick up and deal with it instead of getting butt hurt over your feelings. But now anytime someone gets offended by something, you can just go complain on social media, and someone out there will side with their story and spread their drama bullshite.

Also major corporations are helping propagate this snowflakeism since it is in the best interest of these companies to not offend any groups because if they offend any groups then those people will not want to buy their products. Imagine if Walmart came out and said that they didn't care what people do, but getting sex changes or dressing as the opposite sex is a mental illness, and they won't allow their employees to cross dress. Imagine the backlash they would get or any other company. We've seen a bunch of white guys get fired for saying something that black people say all the fricking time. These companies are just trying to save face and increase their profits, which is what they only care about.
