It is miserable.

Went to walk my dog this morning. Got all dressed. I open the door, he looks at me, walks 3 feet, takes 2 shits, then walks back inside.

Best dog walk ever

Memphis metro. Light snow....it's up to 14 degrees now already. It's sticking to the roads but unfortunately it's not enough to stay home from work.

SoLa will have a good excuse not to go to work today. I'm jealous.

This is the problem I face. My stuff is time sensitive (estimating/public bids). Half the people went to work and said frick it. The other half stayed home. I'm sure tomorrow more people will be at work and will expect bids to still go out as scheduled even though we've all pissed a day of work away.

My parents are reporting heavy sleet. Back porch is nearly covered. They are just north of Zachary.

??? Not sure. They didn't mention anything about squirrels, but I'm sure there is one somewhere out there.

But apparently enough to close Fayette, Tipton, Lauderdale, North Tippah and Holly Springs schools. Or is that more because of the 14 degrees and less because of the piddly little amount of snow?

Not sure why Tipton called off school and Shelby didn't. It's cold....but they have had school when the high was 12 degrees earlier this year.

The driver of the school bus in my area was honking the horn so the kids could go out to meet her instead of standing around at a bus stop in the cold weather. It was enough racket to wake the dead.

Louisiana is going to get snow and ice right at or around freezing today. It's going to be a slushy mess.
