The New Orleans slow streets idea on Moss St. Is great

It should push more vehicle traffic to the other side of the bayou. It will also reduce the number of people walking, running, or cycling in nearby City Park.

Seems like people in their own cars would be effectively social distancing

It won’t. People are running in the park because it’s not shitty roads and most don’t live near it. Ride Moss all the time to Lafitte Greenway and that stretch between Esplanade and Orleans sucks since there is no paved walkway.
