Cheeseburger last night, crazy hives this morning
most of my life up til 33yo I was allergy free and could not relate...then one day...BAM!!!
I got hit all at one time, sneezing itchy eyes, runny nose.....I was blindsided.
I sufferred for years and years and once in a while, I'd hear dairy, then more time went by, still suffering.
taking combinations of comtrex and chlorpheniramine maleate and others I forgot the nanmes of....and of course I heard dairy.
kept ignoring the dairy, til one day I read an extensive article on it, then decided to quit dairy for 2years. 3months into my experiment, my symptoms started to subside.
for further info, go to notmilk dot com, then go to allergies and start reading...or not, your choice.
now, will no dairy help your allergies or this tick red meat combo.....I don't know, but it may well be worth the effort to give it a shot.
just passing it on.....

I have a good friend with it. He goes into full on tongue/throat swelling when exposed to mammal meat. He has to carry around an epi-pen because of it.
I have a friend in Florida that has the same reaction to red meat. Carries an epic-pen and has been to the emergency room several times. He has to be very careful at restaurants. For instance, if he orders french fries and the restaurant has fried a red meat product in the same grease he will have a reaction. He has had the allergy for several years.
