Where are these feminists that people love to complain about? I've never met one or heard one ranting, just heard people bitching about them.

The people all into 50 Shades are generally uneducated housewife types.

I guarantee you, if you didn't look for this shite just so you'd have something to be upset about, you'd never hear it.

who are quick to bitch about men objectifying them, are the same ones creaming themselves over this "Fifty Shades of Grey" trailer? I just find the hypocrisy pretty amusing.

They aren't objectifying men.

Men objectify women - they obsess over the curvature of their bodies, bust size, arse, physiognomy, etc.

In the context of 50 Shades, women aren't salivating over a specific bodily archetype, but rather a rare socio-sexual paradigm in which they are victimized.

If anything, it reinforces the primary themes of feminism.

Maybe a therapist could help you confront your fear of vaginas...

To use OT terminology the male protagonist of the book is basically an Alpha when it comes to looks, money, and sex, but is beta by treating her like a princess, is emotionally damaged and needs to be mentally rescued/salvaged by the female protagonist.

Basically giving women the best of both worlds.
