You shouldn't romanticize things like retail commercial merchandising business establishments.
Except for Shakey's Pizza in New Orleans. I miss that place. Eating pizza, drinking beer and watching silent movie comedies. Best part of my grade school years.

Nice piece. Thanks. Regarding the chocolate chip cookie recipe they included it last Christmas in the to-go box of cookies. A trip to the Zodiac Room always included Stanley’s Pot Roast. My nostalgia NM story- I was dating a girl whose mother told me “You know she will have to marry a man who can let her shop at NM.” We did not get married.
