Exactly. It’s a grift. His discord is $50 a month and he has 200k subscribers

That's my biggest issue with him. He DOES make valid points though, from time to time, and he's at his best when he's speaking about topics like his dad, focusing on inner self and self promotion, and realistic ways to hustle and establish capital. But most of those topics are common sense, he just delivers it in a captivating way. Which is why I still ask, why do you need to pay hundreds a month to enroll in a university to learn this? Anyone can teach you this.

That’s the warped view of how a relationship between a husband and wife should work. Yes, he is the head of the house. But that doesn’t mean he is to be a petty dictator. No. He is to be a leader. His leadership is from a perspective of a servant in that he serves his family by providing leadership. He also provides for the needs and protects the family. And he is to love and honor his wife and not treat her as “lesser”.

Since you mention the “traditional” meaning of relationships, then it’s necessary to look at it from a Biblical perspective. The reason for this is because it was the Bible that relationships between men and women have been based in Western Civilization since Rome went Christian.

So what does the Bible say? It says that a man is to love his wife as Christ loved His church, meaning His disciples and followers. and Christ was obviously their leader. That much is clear. So how did Christ lead His church? Did he make them erect a throne and wait on Him hand & foot? Of course not. Did he treat them as “lesser”? No. He provided for them. He gave them wisdom. He sacrificed His own comfort and needs for theirs. And He made the ultimate sacrifice by laying down His life so they may have life.

So the actual “traditional” view of relationships between men and women is far from what you’ve come to believe. That’s sad. Because if you ever found yourself in such a relationship, you’d find a joy and peace you can’t even imagine.
