So unless you are also arguing against the government paying for the damages caused by my car accident hypothetical, you can't argue against reparations under the theory of citizens of today having nothing to do with slavery.

Uhh... yeah. I’m against both.

Plenty of legitimate arguments against reparations. That simply isn't one of them.

There are no illegitimate arguments against reparations because reparations are reprehensible.

Sins die with the sinner.

The idea of inherited guilt is loathsome, and a moral horror.

So when the State does harm, should those harmed have no recourse?

This type of conclusory nonsense simply saps your credibility.

Have the governments of the United States and the fifty states died when I wasn't looking?

The state didn’t do harm. Individuals did.

How did “the state” get in a car wreck with you? Or did an individual get in a car wreck with you?

They aren’t alive. And as such, can’t have traits such as “guilt”

Are we getting rid of any and all personal immunity for government officials/employees? Because if so, that's something I can get behind.

See, this is why I don't post on the PT anymore. In my post, I very clearly say that I would agree with that proposal. Yet, you still felt compelled to spend almost your entire post hurling ad hominem attacks EVEN THOUGH I WOULD AGREE WITH YOU.

And considering I'm a libertarian, I can all but guarantee I'm more militant about personal responsibility than you are.

But anyway, being you can't seem to control yourself without being a jackass, take whatever last word you'd like and have a pleasant evening.

Because you only agree when it fits your god damn narrative. Consistency of belief is something that is lost on people like you.

Seeing as I’m for a reduction of government to a level that is a hair shy of pure anarchy, and a complete and total abolition of any and all welfare program.

Corn subsidy? Bye bye! Food stamps? See y’a later! Bailouts? Nope! Any form of government assistance or aid? Gone.

I doubt you can back up what you say.

I’m sorry if my brash words hurt your wittle feewings.

Maybe you can get the government to fine me for my hateful speech.

So if I do something awful, and I happen to be, lets say a sheriff, my successor is somehow responsible for my sins?

That's ridiculous
