The Christmas gift you buy for yourself

Is anyone on the same page with me here that just give me a gift card or cash or a check. You think you know what I would like but nine times out of 10 you are wrong. Unfortunately that includes wife, siblings and everyone else that you think are close to you.

I make enough money to buy whatever I want. Give me something thoughtful, even if it's inexpensive. Or don't give me anything, you won't hurt my feelings.

2 things I ask for every year.
Really nice socks and money to get a straight razor shave from the barber I go to. Both I could pretty easily buy anytime through the year but I hate spending money on myself.

I bought myself a truck for my birthday/Christmas gift, first big in my adult life so I didn't spare many expenses. Mom and girlfriend just bought me a whole gym set with the cage around it... think they telling me something

I hate gift cards. I buy whatever I want throughout the year so gifts to me are more about thought than a gift. Plus as I became an adult and buy whatever I want when I want it, I enjoy the giving process much more
