Anyone go there much? Is it much of an attraction for visitors to BR?

I know they built a board walk and pavilion, but haven't been out there in years.

It's a nice little walk when the water's high enough for it to not be a mud pit. I wouldn't say it's an attraction, though.

It's ok. Usually not a whole lot to see along the boardwalk, but it's a nice little walk. The educational building has some snakes and turtles in cages. That's about it.

It's a cool place to see, assuming you're into nature

Also, if you're into mosquitos, it's awesome.

If they've never seen a swamp it's aight. The nature center is nice. If you want to see a better swamp go find some pipeline in spree to and check out all the gators n shite there

We used to go there for forestry class. Pretty cool area once you get off the path

I've been there and consider it a total waste of time. Nothing to see here unless you enjoy thousands of baby snakes.

Not a bad place for kids. I had a membership for my two little ones. Used to take them there to kill time. They enjoyed the critters in the visitor center and walking the paths. They have one of the largest wild grape vines I've ever seen. Thing is about 20 inches in diameter. Not a bad place if you're in BR and want to see some nature.

It's pretty good, especially if there has been a lot of rain raising water levels up to the boardwalk. The night tours are pretty legit. Also, try Tickfaw State Park's boardwalk in nearby Livingston Parish.
