The ratings beating did not reach its height until 1997.

Nah, that was definitely before Nov 97.

The Screw job was in late 97. Hart and many others came over after. The HEIGHT of WCW killing WWF was in late 97 to end of 98. The competition may have started in spring of 95 when Hall and Nash came over. But WWF was still very much in control of its destiny, no thanks to Vince and his team of dopes.

The NWO got WCW over and likewise killed them once there were eleventy billion factions.

Your timeline is WAY off.

Ha!

Due to the feud between Sting and the nWo, WCW dominated the ratings in 1997. In fact, WCW went 83 weeks without losing in the ratings war, and WWE did not defeat WCW even one time in the entire year of 1997. However, with the popularity of names such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, especially the feud between Steve Austin and Vince McMahon, WWE started to gain more grounding in the ratings war.

My timeline is off or you're just dense?

Wcw had their largest ratings over WWF in April of 1998. Look it up.

If wrestling was all about technical ability, Brad Armstrong would rival the Hitman.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan has more charisma in his pinky finger than Brett Hart has in his whole body.

Exactly why the Rock is the GOAT.
