and now you idiots want to bring them back with a "notification watch"
its a step backwards in technology, a futile purchase only sheep would consider
i have the fitbit watch and love having caller id and texts on my wrist but i work with my hands and it allows me to see if i need to take a call without stopping what i am doing to look at my phone

I have a garmin vivosmart that I've been using for the past 18 months. I bought it mainly for fitness tracking between my first gen Up ( when it broke) and when the Apple Watch came out. When the first gen Apple Watch was released, I wasn't sold yet. I'm planning to buy the second gen when it is released this year. Can't wait to take the notification and fitness tracking to the next level.

I have the Garmin Fenix 3 and enjoy the notifications more than I expected. That said, if it was entirely reliant on your phone I don't think I'd own it. But GPS and activity tracking on this is great.
