Are you just going to ignore the point about the value?

I stayed in Petit Jean SP in Arkansas too. It is way better than anything in Louisiana and only $24 a night for a spot with power and water.

Why are you people shocked that shite is more expensive and not as nice in Louisiana versus other places?

We get this same story every week on the OT.

Like I said, we have thousands of acres of WMAs with campgrounds that you can camp on for the price of a basic fishing license...and you only pay that once a year. I'd rather camp on one of those than a state park any day.

If people need electricity and running water to tent camp, they should just buy a camper or an RV.

Go to a Wildlife Mgmt Area. As long as you have either a hunting or fishing license, WMA’s are free to use and many of them have tent camping areas. If you don’t have a fishing or hunting license then you can buy a Wild Louisiana stamp for like $2 to be able to use the WMA for hiking or camping.
