depends on what broke. I ve seen them repaied for 800 and ive seen them replaced for over 4000

That seems really steep. You can find performance versions built to handle 500-700hp for near that price.

Fortunately, the NAG-1/W5A580/722.6 is a very strong trans., rarely hear of issues with them on the forums.

only time I see these is on hotshot one ton trucks. They load the truck down too much to get better rates then try to drive in 5th to get better gas millage and they put that whole load on 5th gear and its as big as a cap to a vitamin bottle.
