That's about right. Because she is not a complete smokeshow, it results in 10 page threads with white knights obsessed with her celebrity rating her a 10 on one side, and guys saying she is an unattractive little boy on the other. I prefer the average slutty instagram "model" over her, but she is getting hotter as she ages versus her young poodle hair days.

I think that those of you who contentiously make these sorts of comments may have some issues that you should deal with. It also makes me realize how many of you have never been with a woman on the low side of 160 lbs.
at least we've been spared (so far) of the usual "she looks like a boy" comments

Eh. Not really. She's an attractive woman. I don't deny that. But she as well as just about all "celebrity" types benefit greatly from having a team of people whose job is to make them look more attractive. From trainers, to nutritionists, to expert photographers, make up artists, stylists. All of these things hide the reality that without that she would just be a very normal looking pretty chick who isn't any better looking than what most people see on a daily basis. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Nope, I know what I'm doing. She has no natural womanly features and needs to hit the squat rack

She is a very pretty girl she just does not have much of a body. I honestly do not see how anyone could argue otherwise.

They're getting blinded by her celebrity appeal

You do realize their in a happy medium between the above and a woman who is rail thin with very little curves right?

Uh.....if you can find a place in my 27,000 posts where I said that, I'll believe you rode a train

You really think these pop country singers write their own songs? IIRC, there are three main dudes that write 95% of songs for pop country singers
if you think that the same 3 guys that write for Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, and FGL are the same guys that penned her 1989 album...you know absolutely jack shite about music...as a matter of fact, she wrote most of that album...herself...with some corroboration...but it most definitely wasn't with the guys on music row responsible for bro country...moron
and she is in fact fine as fricking frog hair...period. Anybody that says otherwise is infected with gay

You're taking this TSwift thing a bit too personally. She's pretty enough. She's also probably a good bit more talented than your average pop star. I'd certainly be proud as hell if I managed to take her out.
However, she is no musical genius. She probably wrote lyrics and consulted on arrangement. People behind the scenes most likely did the leg work on actually writing the music. This is pop music. It isn't some high, interesting, complicated art form. It's generally vapid, and it has to be for mass appeal.
She also has a mouse face, and she is awkwardly thin with minimal curves. She just has stylists, make up artists, and photographers who know how to distract from her flaws and bring attention to her stengths. She isn't going to be everyone's type. You have bought into the mass marketed celebrity, pop star mythos.

new look is definitely different but I kind of dig it...she would get the business wearing nothing but the boots...

It isn't a new look. Last night was the Met Gala. The theme was Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. We went through this last night with the multi-page Katy Perry thread a few posts down

I actually hate pop music...but I have had mad respect for her since the Tim McGraw song came out when she was like 14...she wrote that shite in her bedroom on notebook paper with her and her guitar...that's it...say what you want but she is actually talented unlike most of the pop artists out now...plus she's a fricking great person...and I find her mouse face cute...different strokes for different folks...I don't even listen to her that often...like I said..not really my thing....but when OT ballers say shes not attractive and not talented...it was just a WTf moment for me.

Taylor > Katy
IMHO
And that does explain a lot.

I really don't pay that much attention to fashion type stuff or what "gala" is going on sorry...and if there was a katy perry thread....I would have stayed away from that shite like it might give my computer aids..

It's just a really large event that has been going on for years

Officially, it’s the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit, a black-tie extravaganza held the first Monday in May to raise money for the Costume Institute (a.k.a. the fashion department), the only one of the Met’s curatorial departments that has to fund itself.
Unofficially, Monday night’s festivities in New York have been called many things, including “the party of the year,” “the Oscars of the East Coast” (mostly because of the star quotient and the elaborate red carpet, in which guests pose on the grand entrance stairs to the museum) and, somewhat pointedly, “an A.T.M. for the Met,” by the publicist Paul Wilmot.
