Why is it that some gay men have lisps when they talk?
Are they trying too hard? Why the feminine voice? Mental illness? Watch the children.

There are actually dental reasons for a lot of lisps.
But if it's not dental, everyone needs a character. Look around at the women your age and pick out speaking styles, etc. It's there too (not the lisp specifically, but the character/costume building.)

This is mental. If are a male and feel like you should sound like a female, you have mental problems. It's that simple.
