They were making fun of the whole deal. I think they were specifically making fun of southern frats and also the frat group think of doing anything to fit in. Why else make the "pledge" say those things and then make him pretend to suck a dick?
It was meant to be funny, now all the little snowflakes are going to hurt the group. A group that was probably more supportive of the snowflake than most.

I thought it was obvious by the amount of diversity and ethnicity in the room, the narrator speaking broken English, the sheer amount of concentrated nerd everywhere in the room, the stupidity of the story they told and that they said in the beginning that they were telling a story about a rival frat

I just want TD to be a home for civil discourse and open conversation where everyone gets along all the time. A place free from insults and hatred and vitriol and is instead filled with compassion and love and understanding for our fellow humans.
Is that too much to ask?

Well I do feel like a dumbass now that I know it was a spoof. But in my defense, it was a video made by a frat acting like a frat. I should have watched more of the actual video instead of just reading OPs post.
