Don't. Go big. Tahoe. Suburban. Big. Mrs. M and I get pretty trashed physically after being rear ended in our mini-van a couple of years back. Name brand. Popular. Roomy. But the seats all snapped backwards and all of them were laid down on their backs. To replace it I put Mrs. M in a Tahoe with third row seats to accommodate grand children and such like. She's pretty much a truck girl anyway. Good luck and congratulations on the new child.

A decade ago I would have said don't consider anything other than Toyota or Honda...now, the Kia Sedona is worth considering. Good looking, nice fit and finish, and good reliability.

minivans have a lot of cool features. with that said, minivan & jeep drivers become automatically stupid at the wheel and are a menace to the roadways. 99% of minivan & jeep drivers should be purged from society.
