They'll soon add Alzheimer's to the Sched I list rather than take cannabis off it

Sorta. Weed makes you forget your keys. Alzheimer's makes you forget your kids.
But that key thing can be a bitch.
No doubt.
Nice crop, by the way.

Yeah. They may no longer get seizures, or can finally eat after cemo. But let's be real, they're still trash.

Seriously, weed jokes aside - as awful as we know cancer can be, and I'm certain every single one of us knows someone who has dealt with cancer, dementia seems like it would be my own personal hell.

When your parents get older, you start analyzing every forgetful moment, every non-sequitur, and wonder if this is it. Everybody forgets things and misspeaks, even younger people, so there's always something you can obsess over. It will drive you crazy if you let it.

Yeah, hear you on that.
My mother has a cousin her age whose wife developed it when she was around 45-50. Died at 55.

I'd very strongly consider euthanasia. Not only would I want to go not want to thorough it; but I'd be afraid I may live for years, and my family would have to deal with it.
I may have to answer to St Peter. But a little purgatory would be worth not putting my family through hell.

Yep. That would be the worst way to go. Spending 20% of your life with dementia.
