It’s getting better but the last I saw 47% of all black college grads are first person to have a degree in their family.

It shouldn’t be some hot take that black people were legally isolated from white society in the south until the late 60s. I am 28 and my dad was in segregated schools until 11th grade. It shouldn’t be surprise that a cycle of poverty thus high crime was created in the wake of this.


I am not saying it hasn’t gotten better but to act like the past has nothing to do with present is just ignorant.
