Did not make sense.

1. That is a stupid question, not even worthy of a response.
2. Why so many question marks?

What she said was touching and clearly showed her heartache in the circumstances.
Sadly, her and her families' rhetoric last week was nothing like that and is largely a contributing factor to the murder of 3 cops and maybe more in her "hometown".
In the end, this is the issue with the people supporting groups like BLM. They seem to think their words and agenda are somehow uplifting and refuse to take responsibility for the consequences of their divisive language. They even refuse to acknowledge that the statistics are contradictory to their claims.
In the end, they preach their problems and then when they incite violence, they claim its not their fault.
Ownership of one's actions and the subsequent consequences is something that is destroying this country.

Your assumption could not be further from the truth. Link me to any of that. You simply won't find it. You are basing your assumption on my history of calling out other remarks unrelated to the shooting here.

Yep, you busted me.

How about this pill for the Sterling family to swallow... If their douche bag dead beat family member just complies when the officers arrive NONE of this shite happens and we're not mourning 3 officers and praying for 3 others. All because their sweet little baby couldn't stop being a piece of shite in the 37 years of his shitty life.

You may be bias too if it was your son or daughter.
Now isn't the time to be so judgmental.
She called for peace .... just, frick man ... just go with it. Let the killing stop. Black, white ... ALL OF IT.
The killing never should have started in the first place, and it's the bullshite narrative that police are "murdering" innocent blacks and the mindset of "no justice, no peace" that has directly incited the disgusting tone of the protesters and encourages the violence to begin with. So excuse me if I roll my eyes at your hollow remarks and think very little of the contradictory remarks from the Sterling family.

My remarks aren't hollow. Not a single racist bone in my body. Leaving the deep south has a lot to do with that. I look at the world differently. Very differently.
The media has done this. Not Sterling or his family.
Had Sterling been killed by BRPD and there weren't national broadcast of it, in tradition of other white on black cop killings (which are statistically less than white on white) then there are no protests, no fuming hatred, and no murders today.
Sterling and his family are merely pawns in a much bigger game and its too easy to blame his broken family for their words.

Just as the BLM is part of the problem, even the impetus, so are the mindsets and mantras of "F them...F them all...F those that think cops are more brutal to black people...f those who think things are racist". I am not advocating for excuses or saying that is a root cause, as BLM is. But when people call for no violence, people need to accept it or agree with it, not call it pandering or whatever. Things are pretty screwed up out there now.

Has actually been really light on her cop hate these past few weeks and has been having somewhat reasonable conversations. I actually think all this cop killing has hit her in the feels.

I refuse to sit here and pretend that it is remarkable that someone came out in opposition to murdering random police officers. The notion that anyone should be lauded for that is completely absurd and I'm not falling for it. The same people who in the next breath shout "no justice, no peace" and promote the very false narratives that perpetuate the violence in the first place.

I'm not sure what this has to do with anything as I didn't remotely say any of that.

If you run around shouting "no justice, no peace" you are promoting violence and civil unrest. For what? There is an investigation of the shooting ongoing so it's senseless and inflammatory. Being distraught is not an excuse for using this language and rhetoric weeks later. The media absolutely inflames the situation, as does BLM, but these people are adults and are responsible for the words that come out of their mouths and it's not fair to the officers and their families to be condemned in public as "murders" by the media and the victim's family over and over again prior to receiving due process.
I'm tired of babying and excusing these people for everything. They are adults and should be held accountable for their behavior. If something is not truthful then I'm not going to hesitate to call that out. We either have frank conversations about the true nature of the situation or we feed into this bullshite narrative and continue to go in circles.

Blame the race baiting media for keeping this false narrative front and center of the black community mindset.
I'd be pissed too if every day i turned on the tv and saw black officers gunning down white men and the media saying it was cold blooded murder.
Same reason so many on this board hate muslims when we know not all muslims are terrible people.

Like I already said, the media is certainly worthy of blame. As are certain prominent political leaders. That doesn't excuse people who have fricking brains in their heads and access to all the same information I do and decide to promote violence and civil unrest for bullshite premises. Again, people are RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN IGNORANCE AND BEHAVIORS. I'm not going to just give them a pass because, well, the media sure seems to be reporting on it.

This statement really doesn't have any relevance to the discussion.
