Must be talking about Angelle.

Back in the early 80’s, I worked for Jimmy Faul @ Faul’s Automotive. We regularly had 3 - 4 race cars running out of The Stalls of Faul. Learned many tricks of not only the mechanical trade but also drag racing while working for Jimmy. We lived at State Capitol every Wednesday (testing) and Saturdays for bracket races or points meets. Sad that Jimmy, his brother Wayne and then shop manager, Benny Smith, have all passed on. Great memories, indeed.

I was also there the night Fat Rat Russell attempted to break Evel Knievels car jump on his motorcycle. I can still see him cartwheeling through the air. Brutal! My parents were there every Summer Nationals. My cousin Dale Duncan raced there often; his last car was a Funny Car named “Get-Tarzan”…great memories

The issue historically with No Problem was that the track surface wasn’t good enough to run a top fuel car on.

That and the fact that it's in the middle of no where and NHRA told him that "fish don't buy tickets"

Sad day seeing SCR close.
