Good luck to you brother. Lifting you up in prayer.

Hang in there, brother. I had cancer in my early 30s. Treatment sucks, but well worth it. Try and relax, take care of your body and understand you aren't the only person that has and currently going through something similar.

The chemo won’t seem bad at first but each week of it will get worse. It basically beats your body down each time and your recovery will be harder. You’ll probably do something like 1 week of chemo, 2 off, 1 on, 2 off etc.
Hair will start to fall out at the end of week 1. I recommended shaving it around that time. You’ll be tired and nauseous. Not want to eat much. You get a big shot in your stomach each week, hurts badly. Use numbing cream before they inject, it helps.
Life still goes on with only 1 testicle. Just remember the treatment is temporary and you can handle it. You should be getting blood work done weekly so they can monitor your RBC and other counts. I only had to get one blood transfusion.
You’ll make it.
Edit- probably want to sperm bank if you haven’t already. That usually has trouble recovering
Source: I’ve been there. Same scenario.

You going to whoop cancer's arse Baw. My mom (breast cancer) lost her hair and was tired the day after Chemo.
My daughter's volleyball coach was was diagnosed 10 years ago with stage 4 cancer, shes in remission and doing great. She gets chemo every 3 weeks. Her main symptom after chemo is that she is really cold for a few days.
Dint let it get you down, you got this.

I’ll second a sperm bank suggestion. Do that ASAP, even if you’re not sure if you’ll use them or not. I took that advice back in 2012 and we are now expecting my first child in May because of that good decision.
Note: because of all the chemo, I’m now more sterile than the inside of a clorox bottle.

Just finished 9 rounds of chemo for stage 4 rectal cancer. Each chemo has its own side effects. Mine were exhaustion for 2 days post chemo. I also couldn’t touch or drink anything cold for 4 days. I have also developed neuropathy in my fingers and feet. I didn’t lose any hair but the texture of my hair is different. My taste buds were impacted but that has corrected itself. One bit of advice is to try and gain weight before starting bc during chemo it’s impossible to maintain weight and the chemo just eats up the calories.
